ABOUT BAILEY

Behind every babble is Bailey.

The Woman
Behind the Babblings

A life lived in layers.

I have never been interested in straight lines.

I am interested in intersections,
where education meets curiosity,
where creativity meets conviction,
where motherhood meets momentum,
where ambition meets meaning.

Bailey’s Babblings exists because my life has never fit neatly into a box and I stopped trying to make it. I am a modern renaissance woman in the truest sense: ever-learning, ever-becoming, ever-evolving.

Before I ever built a business, before I ever stepped into leadership rooms or launched anything of my own, I believed I was going into broadcast journalism.

I completed an internship at a local news station, learning how to chase stories, meet deadlines, and write with clarity and urgency. From there, I went on to write for traditional print publications and digital platforms, contributing to both editorial and online spaces.

I’ve since been published across an assortment of publications, and every byline, every deadline, every edit sharpened the way I see the world.

That season taught me something essential:
Stories move people.
Language shapes reality.
And truth, when told well, creates change.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations, because I wanted to understand not just how stories are told but how they are received. Then I went further, earning my Master’s degree in Administrative Leadership, diving into systems, governance, organizational psychology, and what ethical leadership actually requires. Education didn’t make me feel finished. It made me feel hungry.

My career has been anything but linear and that is my greatest advantage.

I’ve worked inside banking giants in Oklahoma, where I learned how power, money, and decisions ripple outward.

I moved across the country to Salt Lake City, where I worked in tech, absorbing speed, innovation, and disruption and also seeing what happens when progress outruns values.

I’ve lived in different cities.
Held different titles.
Reinvented myself more than once.

Each chapter gave me perspective no single industry ever could.

This is the gift of a nontraditional life:
you don’t become one thing—
you become many.

Community, Activism, & the Work That Matters Most

I am not neutral.
I am not passive.
And I do not believe a beautiful life can exist in isolation.

I have spent years serving in governance roles on nonprofit boards, working behind the scenes to help shape organizations rooted in equity, education, and community care.

I’ve volunteered with local literacy groups and grassroots initiatives, because access to knowledge changes lives—full stop.

Activism is not a season for me.
It is a responsibility.

And it is woven into how I mother, how I lead, and how I live.

Motherhood, Magic, & the Everyday Revolution

I am a mother to the most luminous little human—and two wildly expressive dogs who believe they run the house.

They ground me.
They soften me.
They remind me that joy is not a luxury, it is a necessity.

I romanticize life not because it is easy but because it is worth noticing.

I light candles.
I grow things.
I make things slowly.
I read obsessively.
I drink champagne on Tuesdays.

Not because life is perfect—
but because it is happening.

Why Bailey’s Babblings Exists

This is my living archive.

A place where intellect meets intuition.
Where essays replace soundbites.
Where becoming is honored more than arriving.

Here, I write about:

  • education as liberation

  • creativity as grounding

  • activism as love in action

  • entrepreneurship as freedom with responsibility

  • motherhood as evolution

  • beauty as care

  • and learning as lifelong devotion

This is not content meant to be skimmed.
It is meant to be sat with.

The Invitation

If you are layered,
if you crave depth,
if you are tired of shrinking to fit one version of yourself—

you belong here.

This isn’t a brand.
It’s a body of work.
A record of becoming.
A reminder that you are allowed to live boldly, think deeply, and take up space.

And yes—
there will always be champagne.
